Wadowice – the city of Pope John Paul II.

Wadowice is a little township placed in the south part of Poland, just about fifty km from Krakow. The town’s trademark is the fact that the Pope John Paul the 2nd was born and raised at that place.
Many spots inside the town of Wadowice are connected with his bygone existence. Once you come there proceed to Koscielna 7 Street where you would find the family flat where the Pope was given birth.
Guests are presented some protected primary objects and belongings of Wojtyla’s family suchlike pieces of home furniture, images, collections, even a skiis. One of the most popular tourist spot in Central Europe. Visited by millions of people from different parts of the world. Not only a prominent historic monument but also UNESCO World Heritage Site for over 30 years. What are we talking about? Obviously, that place is nothing but Wieliczka Salt Mine. The spot is situated near to one of the largest town in Central Europe – KraKow, in the south of Poland.
